The Kindergarten provides educational and rehabilitation services to children with intellectual disabilities from the age of 3 months to 6 years, and children without disabilities from the age of 3 months to 4 years. Once children without disabilities reach the age of 4, they transfer to a regular school in the local community. Children with disabilities stay in Kindergarten until the age of 6 and whereby they can join the School Program at SMRC or other centers in their community. The program’s capacity is 30 children. Lana, a child from the Inclusive Kindergarten says: “I enjoy coming to my Kindergarten. I love playing with my friends and toys”.
The Programme helps develop the children’s self-care; as well as cognitive, physical, behavioral, social, and language skills. It is funded by Sozialdienst der Pfarrei St. Martin in Switzerland and the Worldwide Moravian Church in Germany.
